Summer is Over.... YEAH!

Is it terrible to be so excited to be home alone? Yesterday was a day of firsts in our home. Both Zac and Camille started at new schools. Zac at Grants Pass High School and Camille at North Middle School. Megan's first day of 8th grade was today. Both Zac and Camille enjoyed their new schools and said it was no big deal. I have said it before, but time is going by so quickly now. Zac will get his drivers permit soon, Megan is a teenager and Camille now shaving her legs. Ugh...I am old. It has been a very long time since my last update. August flew by so fast. We spent a lot of this summer traveling and August was no exception. A brief summary of August: Zac started football and loves it, especially daily doubles. He is playing safety. I hope he doesn't get hurt. Megan played in a tennis tournament, soccer tournament in Portland and turned 13! Her party was a Luau and I hired a lady to come and teach the girls an authentic dance. I had a menu of Hawaiian food and a cake in the shape of a pineapple. I even made Kalua Pork. Yummy. Camille also had a birthday and turned 11. She had a party as well. Her party was a swimming and relay race party. It was a lot of fun. I will add photos and you can see for yourselves. William is busy at work and I am not. It is strange being home. I think I will enjoy it. I am finally feeling like myself again. It was an interesting recovery to say the least, but I have turned the corner. Maybe I will be better at keeping my blog updated so people will stop telling me to fix it! Here are some photos from August. Enjoy!

Cute and fun pictures. I am glad to hear you are feeling better. I understand the feelings about first day of school. We sent Anna off on her first day of school, I guess we are getting older too!

I love your blog's face lift. And glad you are feeling better. I was looking forward to when all my kids were in school, but when Tara went i went back. I look forward to getting to stay home some day, too. Enjoy them while they are all still home!
